It took us quite some time to find the container that we wanted to use for KOADE scented candles. I guess the first thing was that we wanted something a bit different to the norm. We did explore loads of different glass options, but nothing really jumped out at us. Even if we zhuzhed up the label, it just didn’t feel right for KOADE. That’s when we turned our attention to metal…
We explored different types, shapes and colours, but what we were looking for was a simple yet elegant design in its rawest form. Steel. We wanted our containers to not only look great for our customers in their own homes, places of work, event spaces etc, but we also wanted them to be able to withstand the test of time.
They had to be of a high quality, have some weight to them, but not be too heavy. We knew that we didn’t want to add a sticker with our logo onto the container as this would ruin the image completely. So we explored engraving. Branding our containers was important to us, but the branding had to be subtle.
Once your KOADE scented candle has been burnt and you’re ready for another one, please don’t throw away your container! They’re great for storage and event using as a small plant pot. But here’s a little secret; another reason why we want you to keep your containers.
In 2025 (we’re not exactly sure when just yet), we’ll be introducing candle refiils. Whether you want to replace your fave scent or try the others, you can continue to burn KOADE candle after KOADE candle in just one container!
This was another reason we chose metal as a container material. It’s easy for you to add your refill to. Trust us, we’ve been testing this out.
Also, we know we don’t show them in our photos, but KOADE scented candle steel container also comes with its very own steel lid. This doesn’t just complete the look, but it also ensure the wonderful candle scent is in locked in with the candle, ready and waiting for its next burn.
Oh, one final thing… want to know what else makes a KOADE scented candle different? The size. Most scented candle brands offer between 220g – 250g in wax and oil weight. We offer around 300g on most of candles.
