YOUR SAFETY
The safety of each and every KOADE customer is our number one priority.
KOADE scented candles are not only thoroughly tested in-house but we also send them to external testing labs for further testing safety approval.
GOOD TO KNOW
Not all KOADE scented candles reach a full melt pool on first, second or third burns.
As the flame burns down the candle, any wax that remains on the sides is gently melted, ensuring each candle creates a great scent.
For best results, always burn your KOADE scented candle for 4 hours each time you light it.
But never longer.

CANDLE DOS & DON’TS
Never leave a candle burning unattended
Keep candles out of reach of children and pets
Remove all packaging before using your candle
Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire
Keep candles away from flammable materials, sources of heat, overhanging objects and polished surfaces
Place candles in an upright position on a secure, heat resistant surface
Do not move a burning candle
Candle containers may become hot during use
Do not touch or move a burning candle once lit
Do not move the candle holder/container once wax is liquid, allow for wax to completely cool and harden
Do not place candles in a draft
Extinguish a candle immediately if it smokes, flickers repeatedly or the flame becomes too high.
Extinguish the candle with a snuffer, taking care not to damage the wick
Always snuff out the flame. Do not blow out
Keep the wax pool clear of matches and other debris to avoid flaring
If the flame contacts the side of the container, never allow the candle to remain burning
Always leave at least 20cm between burning candles
Never allow a candle to burn for longer than 4 hours
KOADE scented candles are not suitable for use outdoors
Never use a candle if there is damage to the container
Always trim wick to about 3mm - 5mm before lighting and remove wick trimmings
Do not allow the candle to burn down completely
Stop using candle completely when approximately 10mm of wax remains
At KOADE, we’ll always do what we can to ensure our candles are safe. But it’s important that our customers also follow safety steps, not just when burning KOADE scented candles, but any candle.
